Claim 80% Funding Under PSG Grant

Good news! First, time to change or get new laptops for your business. With the Enhanced Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) support announced at Supplementary Budget 2020, PSG scope now includes the following 4 new COVID-19 related categories:
(1) Remote Working - Online Collaboration Tools
(2) Remote Working - Virtual Meeting / Telephony Tools
(3) Visitor Management - Queue Management System
(4) Visitor Management - Temperature Screening Solutions

If you're interested at getting new laptops, that's under item (1). Singtel and M1 have joint collaboration with IMDA and Enterprise Singapore in supporting SMEs and allow employees to work remotely from home. If you're keen in getting laptops, you should keep reading :)
Second, eligible SMEs can adopt pre-approved digital solutions and receive PSG grant including MYOB / ABSS Accounting Software to support 80% till 31st Dec 2020, compared to 70% previously.

Third, businesses can enjoy a new E-Invoicing Registration Grant of $200 if sign up for the nationwide e-invoicing network by 31st Dec 2020.

FAQ
What is the brand of the laptop?
Due to the lack of guaranteed supply, both Singtel and M1 are not able to guarantee the brand of the laptop. However, both promises that this is the minimum specs of the laptop that is provided.

Can I buy a laptop first without PSG approval and apply for the grant later?
No, SMEs will need to provide the PSG number together with the ARCA before Singtel and M1 can process this order.
Can I purchase the laptop without the Microsoft collaboration tool?
No, SMEs must purchase the laptop together with the Microsoft collaboration tool.

What if I want to purchase more than 3 laptops at full price?
Grant covers minimum 1 and up to maximum 3 laptops per company. Subsequent purchase is not covered.

What Is Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG)?
The PSG grant aims to provide support to companies that want to enhance their productivity by the adoption of IT solutions. The government agencies work very hard to simplify the application process. They have pre-scoped & pre-approved the solutions that cover various sector including the retail, food, logistics, precision engineering, construction and landscaping industries.
